Why Coaching?

Executive coaching is there for (Future) Leaders that would like to achieve their goals and reach their full potential. By having one or two coaching sessions a month and weekly check-ins (via chat or email) you will find ways to move forward.

Together we partner and as a coach I will give you the space and trust to share your thoughts and ideas. Then, I will provoke your thoughts to reflect. I also use creativity, proven tools and strategies to inspire you to maximise your personal and professional potential.

 FAQs

    • The timeline of the coaching is mostly 4 - 8 months which is mostly needed in order to unfold new behaviours or ways of thinking.

    • The number of sessions will mostly be between 6 - 10 sessions.

    • The cadence of the sessions start with bi-weekly in the first 2-4 sessions to get used to coaching and then we move to one session per three or four weeks.

    • The duration of the session is 45 minutes to 60 minutes and there is an option to choose 90 minutes.

    • Weekly check-ins by email or chat are there to keep you motivated. You only need to answer a few questions that will take you 5-10 minutes in total.

    This all depends on your preference. If you would rather have weekly sessions that is also a possibility.

    • I am interested in going back to the past to understand certain patterns. - in this case I would also recommend going to a psychologist.

  • We together are in a partnership and as a coach I will first of all cultivate trust and safety in order for you to feel comfortable to share your thoughts and feelings.

    Executive coaching is very much focused on the future, not on the past. It differs from other types of coaching because of the weekly check-ins to keep you motivated.

    We will explore your thoughts and feelings and during every session we set a goal with the aim to always get something out of the session.

    During the sessions I will provoke your thoughts to help you reflect and we will figure out what you can do to move forward to your goal. I will also make use of creativity and proven tools and strategies to inspire you to unlock your full personal or professional potential.

    I will coach you as a person which means that we don’t only focus on a specific problem, but we dive a bit deeper and learn how to reflect, use your thoughts and feelings to move forward and achieve your goal(s). This will be much more valuable than only focusing on one goal or result.

  • As a coach we don’t:

    • Share our opinions

    • Advise or recommend (for this specifically, Your Next Chapter offers People Business Partnering services)

    • Dive into the past to “understand” behaviour or thinking.

    • Solve the problems for you

    When you would like to have the sessions in your office there might be extra costs involved depending on travelling, availability and number of people to coach.

  • The coaching sessions are in either Dutch or English. Both languages I speak on a daily basis.

  • The intake session is created to get to know you a little bit better to get the most out of the sessions.

    The intake:

    • Survey - takes you 20 - 30 minutes to fill out

    • Intake session of 60 minutes to get to know each other better, get a feeling of where you are now and start creating a coaching question/goal

    I will also ask you to sign the coaching agreement that I will send you in advance so we both know what to expect from each other.

  • Yes!

    I’m a big fan of using coaching at least every few years.

    I would even recommend to try different coaches based on what your needs are in that specific moment. Sometimes you need someone more goal oriented and other times you need someone more spiritual for example.

    What I also recommend doing is not having two coaches at the same time or a coach and a psychologist for example. It might confuse you or maybe the tools and strategies that one person is using wouldn’t work for the other process your are in. You can always put one on hold and continu at a later stage for example.
